Lodging

Hotels are plentiful in Nashville, which is approximately 35 minutes from Burns, Tennessee. Of course, we'd love to have you stay closer to our home and Old Spencer Mill, the site of our big event (both in Burns). It's up to you -- we live deep in the woods and understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Fantastic Site about Local Lodging Options

Burns Lodging
Editor's ChoiceChip and Channing recommend staying at Montgomery Bell State Park. The Park's resort rooms all offer a balcony overlooking the lake and acres of wildlife. Montgomery Bell State Park extends 3,782 acres across the iron-rich wilderness of Dickson County. Activities offered at the park include fishing, boating, camping, hiking, playground, archery, horseshoes, softball fields, volleyball, exercise, equipment, basketball, tennis courts and electronic games.

Note: If you wish to stay at Montgomery Bell Park Resort, please make your reservations soon because this beautiful site is often sold out! All of the rooms we blocked off have already been booked, but one or two may be available if you call the Resort. Please call 1-866-TENN PKS or click here to make reservations online.

  • Chigger Ridge Bed & Breakfast
We recommend this 67-acre nature retreat for horse and wildlife lovers! The beautiful two-house country inn will sleep up to 20. We have already booked the inn for the weekend, so contact us directly if you'd like to stay there. The accommodations are beautiful, rustic and inexpensive -- depending on whether we fill up the inn, rates could run as low as $25 per person for the entire weekend ($12.50 per night)! Horseback riding lessons are available, and fishing/canoeing excursions are just moments away. (615) 441-8686 (Call Chip and Chan to reserve a spot) Editor's Choice
